Jin-Hua and her 2 daughters showed up at church this past Sunday.

Dear brothers and sisters,
Chinese New Year is just around the corner, the church will also enjoy a holiday from 13th to 19th. On the 14th there will still be services in the morning. Chinese/Taiwanese combined starts from 9AM, and the English service from 11-12:15. After that we will have a meal at the church. For the students who are gonna be here for the holiday, if you need a place to cook you can use pastor Sue's house. Just let me know when.
Hopfully we'll have a game night or a movie night during the holiday. Let me know if you want to do so.
This coming Wednesday no cell group, instead we'll have a meal together at this brilliant restaurant. If you don't know where it is please ask me or Rico.

This coming Sunday there will be no afternoon service. Cina from Book of Hope headquater is coming and she'll be sharing in the morning services. Please come at 10:45AM. Of course it'll be in English.
If you won't be here for the Chinese New Year holiday, please let me know. There will be a hot pot party at the chuch on Feb 14th, Chinese New Year's day. The English service will also be in the morning. and the hot pot party will be at noon. Please let me know if you'll be able to attend.

1. This coming Sunday baptism at the church... 9:30AM. (Only one service in the morning.) Afternoon English service is the same.
2. Church fasting.--- Jan 11th to Jan 31st. It's a fruits and vegetables only fast. Pastor Caleb is asking everyone in the church to join in this fasting for the spiritual growth of the whole church.
3. cell group-- I know it was very cold yesterday! but still, you missed a great teaching on baptism! Shu-mei prepared 3 pages of note for teaching. again, you need the fellowship in cell group, I'm praying that God will speak to you personally about this matter.
Thanks to both Jenny and Sarah for they did a wonderful job teaching cell group last night.
Jenny taught about endurance and Sarah did faith. I learned from both of them!
For those who didn't come, I enocurage you to read Romans 12. It's only a short chapter, please read, meditate, and come back to me on your thoughts.
Anytime we are trying to draw near to God, He draws near to us. Our loving Father is waiting for His chilldren to go to Him.

Dear brothers and sisters,
It's December!!! Christmas tree is up at Pastor Sue's house. Please try to come to the cell group because we need to spend that quality time together as the body of Christ.
Thanks to those who prayed for Sue's safe travelling. Pastor Sue has arrived in England and everything went smoothly. Please keep praying for God to guide her steps and also for her to adjust well back home.
Christmas party at the church will be on December 25th at 7:30pm. (Friday night) I would like everyone to attend the party because we are part of the church and we need to make an effort to know our brothers and sisters there!
Francie is still working at Sue's house, if you need to talk to me or see me for special prayer request, (or just bring me starbucks coffee, HA!) you can find me on Thursday and Friday at Sue's house. Actually I'm there just about every day because of Billy, but come and go. so the best time to find me there will be on Thursdays and Fridays, 10AM-4PM.

It seems to have been a long time since I blogged.. well, a lot has been going on.
Pastor Sue had the back surgery on Wednesday. Praise God everything went well and she's able to come home on Saturday. She's doing better than the doctor expected. Our God is an awsome God!!!
Sunday service has been carried on as usual. Thank God for putting the English service on Pastor Caleb's heart and he's willing to take over. Thank you brothers and sisters for helping out on Sundays and just being supportive. Please do invite the new students at the university and bring them to cell group or Sunday services.
This coming Friday and saturday there's a pastor from Canada, Terry Bone coming and there will be a special meeting at the church.
Friday & Saturday----7:30pm
Sunday--- 9:30AM (There will be no afternoon service on the 8th of November, please come at 9:30AM)
cell group will go on as usual at Pastor Sue's house, 7:30 Wednesday night.
Please pray for complete healing for Sue, wisdom and strength for Pastor Caleb, and a serving heart for brothers and sisters.
